What is ReceiptKit?
ReceiptKit is an AI receipt scanner app for self-employed people and small businesses. It reads receipts with AI, tracks tax paid and business deductions, logs business mileage, tracks unpaid invoices and exports PDF or Excel reports for your accountant. It works without an account.
Is ReceiptKit free?
Yes. ReceiptKit is free to download and you get free AI scans and exports to start. ReceiptKit Pro adds unlimited scans, backup and every export format.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no password. Your receipts are saved on your phone.
How does ReceiptKit read a receipt?
Take a photo, pick one from your gallery or open a PDF. AI reads the store, date, items, tax and total. You check it and tap Save. Long receipts can be taken in several photos.
Can I use ReceiptKit for my taxes?
Yes. The Tax report shows business spending and tax paid for each quarter or the whole year, and exports a PDF with every receipt photo or an Excel file for your accountant. Ask your tax advisor what your country needs. ReceiptKit does not give tax advice.
Does ReceiptKit track mileage?
Yes. The mileage log lets you add each business trip with from, to, distance and reason. Add your own rate per mile or km to see what each trip is worth, and export the log as PDF or Excel. It does not use GPS.
Can I track unpaid invoices?
Yes. Add a bill or import a PDF invoice with its due date. ReceiptKit keeps paid and unpaid apart, flags overdue ones and reminds you the day before an invoice is due.
Can it read PDF receipts from email?
Yes. Open the PDF in Gmail, Outlook or Files, tap Share and pick ReceiptKit. AI reads it and the original PDF is kept as it is.
How do I send receipts to my accountant?
Select the receipts, tap Share and choose a format: one PDF with all receipt photos, a report with a summary page, Excel, CSV or a ZIP of the originals. Send it by email, WhatsApp, Drive or any app.
Is there an iPhone app?
ReceiptKit is available now on Google Play for Android. The iPhone app is coming soon.
Where are my receipts stored and how do I delete them?
Receipts and photos are stored on your phone. A receipt is sent securely only to be read by AI and is never used for ads. Delete receipts in the app or use Profile → Privacy to delete everything. You can also ask us by email.
